deion with the answer. california residents voted for the proposal to raise taxes. on tuesday residents approved a measure that would increase sales taxes by 1/4 of 1%. the state says the tax hike would also bring in $6 billion in additional annual revenue from the formerly golden state. that would include a hike in taxes on so-called wealthy california residents. liz is bursting at the seams. liz: tax and spend again and again. if that were the way to go california's unemployment rate would not be north of 11% as it has been traineding and this -- republican democracy the way california is running at. it is mach democracy rule with all sorts of propositions and being overrun by special interests and the state suffering.
